In July of 2022 LEAP's Founder, Seena Farhadi, was recognized by Youth Service America as a "Everyday Young Hero" for his work with LEAP. You can read more about the award here.

In May of 2022, LEAP's Founder, Seena Farhadi, was selected by the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors as a Youth Hall of Fame Awardee for Leadership and Civic Engagement. Recipients of this award "make lasting and impactful contributions to communities within the county and serve as an inspiration to others".

In November of 2021, Seena Farhadi was nationally recognized with the Yours Humanly "Power to Empower Award". The "Power to Empower Award" recognizes youth across the country who are taking initiative to make change to the lives of others. 

In June of 2022 LEAP's Founder, Seena Farhadi, was recognized by the Mayor of Walnut Creek, Kevin Wilk, for his work with LEAP and the impact on the Community. A video recognition can be found here.

In May of 2021, LEAP was awarded the Mount Diablo Education Association "Outstanding Volunteer Organization Award". This was given to LEAP because of the unique opportunity it presented for students to get involved, and great impact it had on the district and the surrounding community.

In May of 2021, Seena Farhadi was recognized by the California State Legislature for his work with LEAP and the positive impact it had within the Mount Diablo Unified School District. Awarded by State Senators Steven Glazer and Bill Dodd as well as Assemblymembers Rebecca Bauer-Kahan and Timothy Grayson.

In April of 2021, LEAP was recognized as a Riley's Way Fellow; chosen as one of thirty out of a total pool of 200 applicants. With this fellowship came a $3,000 grant which will be allocated towards a backpack drive for all homeless and foster youth students in the Mount Diablo Unified School District.
